Job summary

Independent Construction Inc. is seeking a project management–oriented professional to support field operations, contract administration, and safety programs across multiple sites in California.

The role involves coordinating owner/agency relations, managing subcontractor changes, and ensuring cost control and timely delivery of materials. Ideal candidates will have a Civil/Construction background, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated project management/estimating work history.
• Ability to learn project management software and scheduling tools.
• Experience with deadline-driven, team-based environments.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Agency/Owner contract documents, changes, submittals, etc.
• Manage subcontractor scope and contract changes.
• Oversee construction materials and delivery methods.
• Track costs and forecast costs to complete.
• Supervise field operations.
• Travel to project locations as needed with valid CA driving record.
