Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a 1st Shift Co-Response Crisis Clinician (Master’s Level, Licensed or Licensed Eligible) to join our Mobile Crisis Team embedded with Wilbraham and Hampden Police Departments in Massachusetts.

The clinician will perform crisis triage, evaluations, disposition recommendations, follow‑ups, stabilization and referral planning for diverse clients across AMCI/YMCI and related CHD programs; licensure is required and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• Licensure (LCSW/LICSW/LMHC) required.
• Experience with individual, family and group therapy, crisis intervention, and substance use preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged to apply.
• Ability to pass driving record and background screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform crisis triage, evaluations, and disposition recommendations.
• Provide follow‑ups, stabilization planning, and referral planning across CHD AMCI/YMCI and related programs.
• Assess needs and determine least restrictive level of care; arrange treatment transitions.
• Conduct evaluations in communities; coordinate with police departments and PD staff.
