About the Facility

The Stanislaus County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed acute inpatient facility for adults 18+ experiencing mental health emergencies. Admissions can be voluntary or involuntary (5150).

Position Responsibilities

The Social Work Clinician III provides clinical and casework services, including person-centered recovery planning and collaboration with other services and agencies. The role may also involve supervising unlicensed staff.

Shifts and Compensation

• Shifts available: Days / Varies as needed
• On Call: DAYS 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Saturday and Sunday
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Starting wage range: $38.80 - $47.92, based on geographic location and experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid and current license with the behavioral health board in your practicing state (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist, QMHP, QMHA)
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent from an accredited institution
• At least two (2) years of direct service experience in a behavioral health setting
