Job summary

Freedom House Recovery Center in Roxboro, NC is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Therapist (social worker or counselor) to provide outpatient mental health and substance use services, with in-office and remote work possibilities. You will deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices to support clients in a mission-driven setting.

The role requires NC licensure (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCAS, LCASA, LMFT, LMFTA) and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field (Counseling or Social Work) and NC licensure as LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCAS, LCASA, LMFT or LMFTA.
• Ability to provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Experience with comprehensive clinical assessments (CCAs) and treatment planning.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments (CCAs)
• Develop treatment plans
• Participate in treatment team meetings
• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Who We’re Looking For

• NC license: LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, or LCMHCA

LCAS Or LCASA License Preferred (not Required)

• Experience with mental health and substance use disorders as a counselor or clinical social worker
• Experience with multidisciplinary team-based care
• Strong documentation and time-management skills
• Demonstrated cultural competence in clinical practice
