Job summary

Northern Rivers Family of Services in Albany, NY, is seeking clinicians to provide comprehensive mental health therapy and case management under a fee-for-service-benefited model. The position covers ages birth to 65, with opportunities for remote work and a flexible schedule.

Candidates should hold a Master's in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and be eligible for NY licensure; licensure is preferred. Signing bonuses exist for MSW/MHC license holders and other benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counselor.
• Experience in human services, case management, or direct care in a residential program before or after master degree.
• License and/or Limited Permit eligible; fully licensed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients aged birth to 65 with comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and therapy.
• Create initial and ongoing treatment plans, progress notes, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with prescribers, other medical and mental health providers, schools, and community supports.
• Attend Behavioral Health Center staff meetings twice a month.
• Participate in supervision; frequency based on licensure level and needs.
• Provide referrals and linkages to community resources and services.
