River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking an RN for the Billingslea and LifeSPRING locations in Macon, GA. The role focuses on crisis care, medication administration, assessments, and clinical oversight of LPN staff in a supportive, substance-free environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Georgia RN license, have 2+ years in behavioral health/IDD, and possess good computer and communication skills. This full-time position requires flexibility to work at both sites.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license.
• At least 2 years working in behavioral health/IDD or related field.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• IDD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed to patients in the crisis facility.
• Conduct initial patient assessments during crises.
• Oversee LPN staff; review docs; train on Health Care Plans.
• Treat wounds and health issues during crisis situations.
• Assist in crisis de-escalation using medical judgment.
