Job summary

Claratel Behavioral Health in Georgia seeks a Co-responder Licensed Clinician to join a collaborative team with local law enforcement. You will provide field clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and link individuals to resources, while ensuring safety and coordinating follow-up services.

You’ll work community-based crises, complete 1013/2013 as appropriate, and participate in an on-call schedule to support officers in the field. CPR and CPI training are required.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia, or master’s level Counselor/Social Worker pursuing licensure within 6 months.
• At least 2 years of mental health/substance use crisis experience.
• Must have CPI training and CPR.
• Must have basic computer and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field clinical assessment, crisis intervention and education to individuals and families in the community.
• Engage in homeless outreach and community/law enforcement partnerships.
• Evaluate safety risk and initiate 1013/2013 as appropriate.
• Perform therapeutic de-escalation and coordinate with receiving facilities when crisis stabilization is needed.
