Job summary

Comprehensive MedPsych Systems, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Sarasota, FL team. You will treat a range of mental health conditions within a supportive behavioral care network and help expand access to high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, delivering evidence-based psychotherapy, maintaining EMRs, and contributing to our growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) in the state of practice.
• 2+ years post-master's experience delivering behavioral health services.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy to individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain accurate EMRs and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Support growth by contributing to online profiles and marketing efforts.
• Occasional community outreach to educate local PCP offices and clinics.
