Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a travel assignment in Washington, DC. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans and deliver counseling and crisis intervention across age groups.

Qualified candidates hold an LCSW and CSWE-accredited MSW, with at least one year of experience preferred. CPR and health certifications may be required by contract or state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school required.
• Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required.
• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to input into the plan of care for patients/clients requiring social work intervention.
• Provides counseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients with social or emotional problems in various settings across the age span.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with themulti-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of carefor those patients/clients requiring social work intervention. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker providescounseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social oremotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work from a school of social workaccredited by the Council on Social Work Education required


• Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required


• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
