Qualifications

Responsibilities

What you will do: Responsibilities listed are included but not limited to.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, assessing the social, emotional and support needs of the patients and their families.
• Set measurable objectives that are formulated in conjunction with the rehab team.
• Assist the physician and other health team members in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health problems.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families in treating and coping with social and emotional responses connected with illnesses.
• Participate in care‑coordination activities and act as a resource to other health team members in identifying and resolving patient needs.
• Identify and assist the patient and/or family in utilizing appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives.

Qualifications

What you’ll need.

• Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW).
• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or acute diagnosis.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk, stand, and perform extended periods of activity.
• Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.

Salary Range

USD $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
