Job summary

Northland Health Centers in North Dakota is seeking a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our integrated Behavioral Health team. You will provide evidence-based outpatient counseling for patients with mild to moderate mental health concerns while collaborating with physicians and the primary care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Under the Director of Behavioral Health, you will document care, complete assessments, and develop treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active North Dakota LCSW licensure.
• Knowledge of evidence-based counseling and behavioral health treatment modalities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Outpatient/ integrated care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required

• Current North Dakota licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Two or more years of outpatient behavioral health counseling experience.
• Experience in an integrated primary care setting.

Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM
Tuesday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM-3:30 PM

A Typical Day

Your day begins by reviewing referrals from primary care providers before seeing patients for scheduled therapy sessions. You'll document care, collaborate with providers on treatment plans, connect patients with community resources, and coordinate referrals when higher levels of behavioral health care are needed. Every day, you'll help improve access to quality mental health services while supporting whole-person care in a collaborative clinical environment.
