Job summary

UF Health Proton Therapy Institute in Jacksonville, Florida seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support patients and families during cancer treatment. You will address psychosocial needs, navigate care systems, and connect with community resources while serving as the psychosocial lead on the treatment team.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, facilitate support groups, and help patients access services.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential; oncology experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to facilitate small and large support groups.
• Sound clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of social work practice and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience creating informational materials.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Familiarity with local community resources and social services is an asset.

The UF Health Proton Therapy Institute (UFHPTI) in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support patients and families throughout cancer treatment.

In this patient- and family-focused role, you’ll help individuals and families address psychosocial needs, navigate the health care system, and connect with appropriate community and support services.
