Job summary

Psychiatric Medical Care, LLC. is seeking a licensed clinical social worker to provide clinical social work services and discharge planning in a hospital setting.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provides clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, crisis management, and psychosocial evaluation for patients and families. Provides orientation and education to other staff members. Develops, organizes, and implements programs, policies and procedures, casework services, and referrals necessary to ensure overall departmental operations in accordance with the facility's mission and philosophy. Participates in and maintains performance improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program — REQUIRED
Active, unrestricted License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Georgia — REQUIRED

Minimum 2 years post-MSW clinical experience preferred

Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, clinical assessment, and evidence-based interventions required

Minimum 2 years post-MSW clinical experience preferred

PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS
