Job description
Overview

Remote, part time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join Cortica's multi-disciplinary team. A current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of California is required for this position.

This role emphasizes extraordinary clinical care and collaboration across disciplines.

This position provides opportunities to work with leaders in child development and to broaden clinical knowledge across neurological, sensorimotor, communication, and behavior therapies.

What you will do
  • Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children (patients, their parents, and/or their siblings).
  • Utilize therapeutic approaches drawn from various disciplines, tailored to client needs (e.g., Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy, and others).
  • Maintain relational ethics while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and families to ensure wrap-around support and information sharing.
  • Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
  • Comply with clinic policies and applicable laws and regulations, upholding confidentiality and mandated reporting.
  • Adhere to organizational standards and policies and support teammates in adherence.
  • Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as part of duties.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted license/certification required to practice within your clinical domain and ability to obtain cross-state licensure as needed.
  • Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy approaches including cognitive/behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
  • Commitment to exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to learn from other disciplines and local knowledge of colleagues and families served.
  • 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this opening is $47.79/hr to $59.74/hr. Compensation will be aligned with skill level, experience, education, and location.
