Key Responsibilities

Clinical Services

• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy services to long-term care residents.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and clinical evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Support residents experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, adjustment disorders, behavioral concerns, and other mental health conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of older adults.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation teams, social services, and facility leadership.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary case reviews.
• Promote positive behavioral health outcomes through coordinated care and communication.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Protect resident confidentiality and uphold behavioral health best practices.

Facility Partnership

• Build strong professional relationships with facility staff and leadership.
• Serve as a behavioral health resource to support resident well-being and quality of life.
