Job summary

Here in Highland Mills, NY seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our behavioral health team. The candidate must hold an active NY LCSW license and bring strong clinical skills for psychotherapy with diverse populations.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering individual and family therapy, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance within EMR workflows (Picasso).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work and NY LCSW license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of supervised post-graduate clinical social work experience, including psychotherapy, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of NYS Office of Mental Health regulations and EMR systems (Picasso) with strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Highland Mills, NY

Salary: $40 hourly

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm; Friday and Sunday from 5pm to 9pm

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, establish diagnoses, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Deliver crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and complex care management while monitoring client progress and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, case consultation, and professional guidance to therapists, interns, and other clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance while supporting quality improvement, program development, and service expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work and an active New York State LCSW license in good standing, with no sanctions or exclusions from federal healthcare programs.
• Minimum 3 years of supervised post-graduate clinical social work experience, including psychotherapy, diagnosis, and treatment planning; outpatient mental health experience required.
• Strong knowledge of NYS Office of Mental Health regulations, clinical supervision, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Picasso, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, trauma-related disorders, PTSD, TBI, or military populations preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.
