Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work (MSW), CSWE-accredited.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years post-MSW clinical/treatment experience within the last three years, or a master’s-level practicum.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals to community and government agencies for services.
• Assess psychosocial functioning and needs, formulate and implement treatment plans with patient and family.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide treatment to diverse populations.
• Utilize medical and mental health diagnoses, treatments, and terminology in care.
• Deliver counseling/psychotherapy to individuals, groups, couples, and families within licensure limits.
• Provide consultation to staff on psychosocial needs and impact on health care and treatment adherence.
• Participate in peer review, research, or required organizational activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compass Government Solutions is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) to provide services at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.A pivotal role in supporting individuals, families, and communities through a variety of challenges. This position requires a deep commitment to understanding and addressing mental health issues, social inequalities, and personal crises. A LCSW engages in both direct client care and systemic advocacy, making it a multifaceted job that demands both emotional resilience and professional expertise. With a focus on holistic care, LCSWs not only provide therapy but connect clients with crucial resources and support systems.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Duties :

• Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and other Government agencies for services.
• Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan, identifying the patient’s problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and assistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Independently conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational and other diverse backgrounds.
• Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic and traumatic illnesses/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology.
• Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals.
• Independently provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Must practice within the bounds of the license or certification and the privileges granted by the MTF.
• Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment.
• Participate in professional peer review case conferences, research studies, or other organizations required at the MTF.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications :

Experience

Experience in clinical social work, either through-

• A master's-level practicum

OR

• 2 years post-MSW experience, within the last 3 years, in a clinical/treatment setting

Education

• Master's degree in social work (MSW). Graduate from an Accredited School of Social Work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Licensure

• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
