Tennessee Oncology seeks a psychosocial oncology clinician to assess clients’ psychosocial functioning and provide outpatient counseling across the cancer journey. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, support patients and families, and help implement new treatment programs.
Qualified candidates hold a doctoral degree in psychology or a master’s in social work and must be licensed in Tennessee. Telehealth and in-person services are utilized to reach the community.

The psychosocial oncology clinician assesses clients' psychosocial functioning and needs, and provides resource coordination and outpatient counseling for individuals with cancer and their family members. Services are provided to clients at all stages of the cancer process including diagnosis, treatment, long-term survivorship, and end of life. The clinician works as part of a multidisciplinary team providing consultation, care coordination, and training to physicians, nurses, and staff.
