Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy using evidence-based practices including behavioral therapy.
• Engage in addiction counseling for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
• Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Stay informed about current research and best practices in social work and mental health treatment.
• Experience in addiction counseling, providing support for recovery processes

Skills

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited school.
• Complete 3,000 hours of supervised post-degree professional experience.
• CA state LCSW license
• Pass the association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Clinical Exam.
