Job summary

Ellie Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide outpatient therapy and support clinical oversight across its Morristown, NJ clinics. The role emphasizes consistent therapy caseloads, collaborative care, and adherence to insurance and ethical standards.

You will conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team while maintaining flexible scheduling and a strong commitment to client well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have Doctorate in Psychology.
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New Jersey and able to supervise clinicians in NJ.
• Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy and completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team and maintain professional boundaries.

Role Overview

The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will provide outpatient therapy services while supporting clinical oversight. The psychologist will maintain a consistent therapy caseload while collaborating with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care, appropriate documentation, and adherence to insurance and ethical standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys clinical work, consultation, and contributing to a collaborative practice environment while maintaining schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities include:

Clinical Care

• Maintain an active outpatient therapy caseload providing individual, couples, or family therapy
• Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with insurance and clinical standards
• Provide evidence-based treatment to a diverse client population

Clinical Oversight and Collaboration

• Support incident-to billing workflows within the practice
• Review clinical documentation when needed to ensure quality and insurance compliance
• Provide clinical consultation and guidance to clinicians when appropriate
• Participate in case consultation and clinical meetings as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have Doctorate in Psychology
• Must be a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New Jersey
• Eligible to supervise clinicians working toward licensure in New Jersey
• Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
• Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical clinical standards
• Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems
