Job summary

Hansel Union Consulting seeks a licensed North Carolina psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in clinical/counseling psychology or neuropsychology for a full‑time, hybrid role based in Raleigh. You will assess, treat, and support patients across children, adolescents, and adults, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with patients through sensitive and empathic communication.
  • Select, administer, score, and interpret clinical assessments and psychological evaluations.
  • Monitor treatment plans and adapt clinically as needed.
  • Consult with the care team and provide referrals or connections for patients.
  • Write assessment reports for ADHD, learning challenges, or autism.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Complete clinical interviews to gather information for evaluation reports.
  • Maintain active licenses with NC boards and licensing authorities.

What you’ll bring
  • Establish rapport with all patients by consistently showing sensitive and empathic communication.
  • Select, administer, score, and interpret clinical assessments and psychological evaluations.
  • Monitor treatment plans and make adaptations clinically necessary or helpful.
  • Consult with the care team and provide referrals or connections as beneficial for the patient.
  • Write assessment reports for individuals receiving testing—for ADHD, learning challenges, or autism.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Complete clinical interviews to gather information necessary for a final psychological evaluation report.
  • Complete appropriate documentation, including contact logs, quarterly reports, and final dispositions.
  • Abide by the discipline‑specific licensing board’s Code of Ethics (e.g., Virginia Board of Medicine, Virginia Board of Social Work, or Virginia Board of Counseling, Department of Health Professionals).
  • Schedule and follow through clinical interviews, and communicate with clients, support coordinators, and other supporters regarding schedule changes.
  • Participate in continuing education as required by the discipline‑specific licensing board.
  • Maintain active licenses with the North Carolina Board of Medicine, North Carolina Board of Social Work, North Carolina Board of Counseling, or Department of Health Professionals.
Required Qualifications
  • Fully licensed in North Carolina.
  • Have earned a PhD or PsyD in clinical/counseling psychology or neuropsychology.
  • Experience working with child, adolescent, and/or adult populations.
  • Trained in autism.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience with individuals in the ID/DD community.
  • Experience completing psychological evaluations.

Job Type: Full‑time

Salary: 120‑150K
