Job summary

NeuroPsych Wellness Center in Northern Virginia is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological testing for children and adolescents, with support from an established multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes diagnostic clarification, clear testing reports, and collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and clinicians in a 30+ clinician outpatient practice; license in Virginia or license-eligibility required, plus ADOS certification.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia.
• Experience testing children/adolescents preferred.
• Must be ADOS certified.
• Minimum 1 year intake evaluations experience.
• Outpatient mental health setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Provide clear, timely testing reports for clinicians.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs, PAs and therapists.
• Participate in a testing program with leadership and externs.
• Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner.
• Coordinate care and referrals with community providers.
• Contribute to an established outpatient group practice (30+ clinicians).
• Engage in multidisciplinary care including psychotherapy and testing.
• Serve ages 16+ with expansion to younger populations.

NeuroPsych Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our growing outpatient practice in Northern Virginia. We offer a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment, along with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Position Overview

We are looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience in psychological and neuropsychological testing for children and adolescents. This role focuses on diagnostic clarification and cognitive/behavioral assessment, with support from an established multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, including:
• ADHD
• Anxiety and mood disorders
• Behavioral and emotional concerns
• Provide clear, timely, and clinically useful testing reports
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and therapists
• Participate in a well-established testing program alongside a Director of Services, postdoctoral fellows, and advanced externs
• Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner
• Coordinate care and referrals with community providers as needed
• Established outpatient group practice with 30+ clinicians
• Multidisciplinary care model including:
• Psychotherapy (licensed therapists)
• Psychological testing services
• Interventional treatments (TMS, Spravato)
• Strong referral base from local providers and community networks
• Current testing program primarily serves ages 16 and above, with expansion to younger populations

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
• Licensed (or license-eligible) Clinical Psychologist in Virginia
• Experience conducting psychological testing for children and adolescents preferred
• Must be ADOS certified
• Minimum 1 year experience in:
• Intake evaluations
• Outpatient mental health setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
