Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all contract and Acuity policies and procedures.
- Conduct and document mental health assessments, providing ongoing individual and group counseling as per contract policies.
- Manage caseload coverage during time off to ensure continuity of care.
- Complete all assessments and screenings according to policy and ethical standards.
- Provide quality care, respond to crises, and make appropriate referrals.
- Screen for human trafficking, assess for child abuse and neglect, and refer as needed.
- Document biopsychosocial assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and safety plans accurately.
- Collaborate and respond promptly to staff and management inquiries.
- Maintain case files in the electronic record system and ensure data accuracy.
- Report incidents following policy, including follow-up documentation.
- Support operational needs like meetings, record keeping, and communication.
- Comply with mandated reporting requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper record-keeping both on and off duty.
- Support departmental operations and handle client complaints.
- Perform Emergency Behavioral Interventions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field with 3 years of counseling experience.
- Valid, unrestricted clinical license in any clinical counseling field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Clean Child Abuse and Neglect (CA/N) check.
- Ability to multitask, organize, and communicate effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible scheduling; ability to adapt to operational needs.
- Remain calm and composed under stress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in residential shelters or treatment centers.
- Proficiency with electronic record systems.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Navigate construction and sports areas.
- Use manual dexterity and sensory acuity.
- Stay alert and mobile during shifts, including emergency situations.
