Job summary

West Cecil Health Center in Conowingo, MD seeks a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our medical practice team. This on-site role supports assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of behavioral health services for patients, including children and adolescents.

The LCPC will provide individual and group therapy, collaborate with primary care physicians, and develop care plans while contributing to a positive work environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed LCPC credential required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services within the scope of practice generally accepted as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor of West Cecil Health Center, Inc.
• Support the mission of West Cecil Health Center by serving as a liaison and promoting the health center to the behavioral health community.
• Assess psychosocial needs and develop care plans and treatment goals with patients.
• Establish rapport and advocate for patients and provide individual and group therapy.
• Assist primary care physicians with patient behavioral health concerns.
• Maintain accurate records by documenting symptoms and treatment events.
