Job summary

SHYS HEALTH in Salisbury, NC seeks an LCAS/CCS SUD Program Manager to join our new management team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

The role oversees all substance use clinical services at the location, provides supervision, and collaborates with medical staff to design treatment protocols and ensure appropriate levels of care for clients served.

Qualifications

• Master degree in human service field with 2 years post graduate experience and licensed.
• Experience providing counseling, crisis intervention and case management to adults with SUDs and co-occurring mental illness.
• Must be licensed in one of the following: Addictionologist/MD, LCAS, or CCS.

Responsibilities

• The Substance Use Disorder Program Manager will be a licensed clinical addiction specialist and/or Certified Clinical Supervisor.
• Manage the operations of all the substance use clinical services/groups for assigned location.
• Facilitate the intake process for all the substance use clinical services/groups for assigned location.
• Provide supervision to all substance use counselors/direct care staff for assigned location/groups.
• Work with medical practitioners to manage and design treatment protocols employed within the agency to ensure appropriate level of care for all consumers served.
• Implement best practice and emerging practice protocols, review service quality, and design of all SUD staff training.

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Human Service Field and 2 year post graduate experience with License AND
• Is 18 years of age or older with the ability to read, write and understand how to follow instructions and is Licensed with one year of experience with target population AND
• Has no violent criminal record orsubstantiated findings of abuse or neglect listed on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry
• Experience providing counseling, crisis intervention and case management to adults, with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders as well as children/adolescent with severe emotional disorders, substance use and their families.
• Flexibility with scheduling to meet the needs of patients Shift: Mon - Fri (8:30AM – 5:30PM)
• The Substance Use Disorder Service Clinical Supervisor must meet one of the following licensed discipline categories:
• Addictionologist/MD
• Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist
• Certified Clinical Supervisor
