Job summary

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS)
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing substance abuse counseling
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling focused on substance abuse recovery and relapse prevention
• Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and treatment planning in accordance with best practices
• Provide case management, crisis intervention, and client education
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with state and agency standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and psychiatric providers
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities
