Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; licensing support provided.
• Insurance adjuster license required; must obtain in applicable states.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or related experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Computer literate with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, and processes low to moderately complex claims.
• Reviews claim information for accuracy, completeness, and coverage applicability.
• Processes claim payments and communicates claim decisions and settlements to customers.
• Collaborates with internal partners and external stakeholders to facilitate timely claim resolution.
• Maintains accurate claim documentation and records throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Contributes to departmental goals, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Effectively utilizes technology, systems, and claim management tools to support workflow efficiency.
• Supports workload surges, special projects, and catastrophe operations as needed.
• Develops and applies knowledge of various insurance products, policy contracts, coverages, and regulations.
• Provides professional and empathetic customer service during potentially stressful claim situations.
• Adheres to company standards for quality, attendance, and conduct.
