4Creeks is seeking an Engineer to join our Water Engineering team, a driven and growing group working in a fast-paced environment. You will lead design work alongside our engineers, run your own projects as Project Manager, help shape the team's technical direction, and help cities, districts, growers, dairies, and developers plan, design, and build the infrastructure their communities depend on, from the Valley to the coast and the mountains, and beyond.
Design and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects such as lift stations, sewer and water mains, wells, storage and recharge basins, potable water and wastewater treatment systems, dairy and industrial process water ponds, and septic (OWTS) systems.
Perform hydraulic and hydrologic calculations (pipe and pump sizing, drainage and basin sizing, culvert capacity) and turn the results into clear recommendations.
Prepare design basis memos, technical memoranda, engineering reports, and permit submittals for clients and reviewing agencies.
Manage projects from proposal through construction, including scope and fee, budget, schedule, client communication, and subconsultant coordination.
Check calculations and review plans before they go out, and help set the technical approach on new types of projects.
Support construction through submittals, RFIs, and site visits, with the chance to work on design-build projects alongside our 4Creeks Build division.
Mentor EITs and technical staff, and coordinate with our in-house teams across land development, planning, survey, traffic, water management, and more.
The salary will be determined by the candidate's skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. The benefits package includes employee and dependents health coverage, company 401(k) contribution, participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for these positions is $90,000-$130,000 annually; however, it is dependent on years and level of experience.
