Job summary

Cochran, a growing civil engineering firm in Ozark, Missouri, is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to support and lead engineering projects. Key responsibilities include project management, preparing technical reports, conducting field investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, EIT certification, and preferably a PE license. Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant experience, ideally in water and wastewater design and construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead engineering projects from planning and design through construction.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design plans, and specifications.
• Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed.
• Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and contractor inquiries during construction.
