Job summary
Cochran, a growing civil engineering firm in Ozark, Missouri, is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to support and lead engineering projects. Key responsibilities include project management, preparing technical reports, conducting field investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, EIT certification, and preferably a PE license. Qualifications
3–6 years of relevant experience, ideally in water and wastewater design and construction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Support and lead engineering projects from planning and design through construction.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design plans, and specifications.
Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed.
Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and contractor inquiries during construction.
