Job summary

Mendrop Engineering Resources, LLC is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join our civil team in Mississippi, with opportunities across Gluckstadt, Batesville, or Vicksburg. The role focuses on design support, plan development, and coordinating project activities, while mentoring junior staff and supporting project delivery.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited BS in Engineering, a Mississippi PE license or the path to licensure, and 4+ years of civil experience, with

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain licensure in Mississippi within a reasonable timeframe)
• 4+ years of experience in a civil engineering discipline
• Proficiency with standard engineering design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with public and/or private clients (preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage tasks and contribute to project coordination
• Interest in continued professional growth and development

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and plan development for civil projects
• Contribute to general project efforts and increase responsibility over time
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and coordinate project delivery
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment
