Job summary

Centennial School District ISD12 seeks a Licensed Care Specialist to provide direct health services at Rice Lake Elementary. The role supports student health needs, administers medications, maintains health records, and conducts health screenings under the supervision of the licensed school nurse.

The ideal candidate is a MN-licensed nurse with CPR/BLS, able to lift and assist students, and committed to safe, compassionate care within a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) with the State of Minnesota.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to lift/move/push/pull as required by the assignment.
• Demonstrate commitment to student achievement and collaboration.
• Strong integrity and professionalism in teacher/student/parent interactions.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care and Medication Administration.
• Maintenance and updating of Student Health Files/Immunizations.
• Health Screenings and implementation of procedures under the Licensed School Nurse guidance.

Hours: 3.5 hours/day - 12:00-3:30

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Wage: $29.92 per hour or $31.92 per hour if licensed RN

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) with the State of Minnesota.
Must have CPR/BLS certification.
Ability to lift/move/push/pull as required by the assignment.
