Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers and central plant equipment including combustion conditions, steam pressures and temperatures.
• Conduct tests on boiler feed water and log readings.
• Blow down boilers and water columns; monitor water chemistry and instrument readings.
• Perform startup/shutdown of mechanical equipment and conduct routine inspections.
• Respond to maintenance requests, log issues and monitor alarms; adhere to hospital safety guidelines.
