Job summary

West Fraser is seeking a licensed boiler operator to join the powerhouse team in the United States. The role requires a valid Arkansas boiler license and the ability to operate the powerhouse while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The candidate should be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays and be willing to rotate shifts. On-the-job training is provided, and the company emphasizes internal promotion, with comprehensive benefits starting from Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision

This is a job position with expectations of the team member is a licensed boiler operator for the state of Arkansas and has the ability operate the powerhouse.

What you will do:

• Work in confined spaces and height in excess of 20 feet.
• Perform maintenance activities.
• Maintain all heavy equipment (including cleaning, oiling and greasing).
• Show initiative, self-motivation, good work habits and attendance, good safety record and good housekeeping.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

What you will need to be successful:

• Boiler License for the state of Arkansas
• High School Diploma or GED
• Be willing and able to work a schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be willing to work rotating shifts.
• Willing and able to work on an emergency call-in basis when required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team.
• Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills.
• Consistent, predictable attendance.
• Comply with all West Fraser safety policies and procedures.
