Job summary

Heron Ridge Associates, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Brighton, MI team. You will assess patients, deliver evidence-based therapy (CBT/DBT), and ensure compliant documentation while coordinating care with external providers.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field and an active MI license (LMSW/LPC/LMFT). We support growth, flexible models, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• MI licensure (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in MI is required.
• 2+ years of professional behavioral health experience preferred.
• Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and families, including children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT and other evidence-based approaches.
• Maintain accurate EMR and clinical documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Build strong provider–patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers.
