They are an excellent listener who can build trusting relationships with patients, meet individuals where they are, and provide thoughtful, individualized care.The LCSW/LPCC/LMFT/LPCA provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and behavioral health care. Services are designed to support and maximize the client’s ability to better direct their own health care experiences using assessment, intervention, education, and linkage to health and community resources. The LCSW/LPCC/LMFT/LPCA encourages respect for individuality, independence, patient choice and collaborates on policies and systems that respect the cultural, religions, and ethnic differences among patients and families. Mental health services contribute to the medical team's understanding of patient beliefs, behaviors, and barriers regarding the client's illness.Duties/Responsibilities:Uses age appropriate assessment and intervention skills.
