Job description

Full time (80 hours biweekly)

Weekdays, daytime flexible hours and some evenings up to 7:30 pm

Hybrid work available after six months

  • Openings for licensed professionals or close to obtaining a professional license (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) in various South Central Pennsylvania counties, including Chambersburg, Ephrata, Lebanon, Lancaster, Mt Gretna or York.
  • Regular group supervisions and additional clinical consult available as needed.
  • Required trainings for licensure provided free of charge, as well as eclectic selection of CEU training topics that support clinical growth and competency.
  • Licensure reimbursement.

  • Administrative support provided, allowing clinicians to focus on treatment delivery.
  • No on call schedule, since we are supported by our own access center 24/7 crisis support.
  • Ability to work with a continuum of Behavioral Health Service Line allows for easier access to/from more intensive treatment when needed.

General Summary

Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist provides individual, group and/or family therapy. Provides preadmission screening to determine appropriateness for admission. Interviews patients and/or families to obtain psycho-social histories. Collaborates with the treatment team to develop a treatment plan and coordinates discharge planning.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Conducts individual or group therapy sessions. Assesses patients' progress and modifies or extends treatment program accordingly.
  • Provides therapeutic intervention with patient and family including individual, marital, parental, family and group therapies.
  • Interviews patients and family members to obtain information about home environment, family relationships, health history, and patient's personality traits.
  • Documents current, accurate observations of care to the patient in appropriate records.
  • Coordinates care of assigned patients.
  • Assists in the implementation of education and training experience for interns and other designated students.
  • Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.

Common Expectations:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population. Assesses and interprets patient age specific data and provides appropriate, age specific treatment. Provides direct patient care to assigned patient age group(s).
  • Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
  • Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Minimum Education:

  • Master's degree required in counseling, psychology, social work or human service-related field.

Work Experience:

  • More than 1-year related experience required.

Licenses:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Required.
