Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor - FULL time - Day shift - NO WEEKENDS - Detroit

Department: Eastwood Behavioral - Detroit

Position Details: Full-time, Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm). No weekends or major holidays. Full benefits included.

Qualifications: Active license as LPC, LLC (formerly LLPC), LMSW, LLMSW, LLP, or LP in Michigan. CAADC preferred but not required. Experience with children/adolescents preferred. Ability to work at least one evening per week is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
2. Administer individual and group therapy; maintain thorough, confidential records.
3. Evaluate progress and effectiveness of interventions.
4. Provide information on community resources and therapeutic activities.
5. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and community providers throughout treatment.

Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or psychology with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Licensed Master Social Worker (Michigan), Licensed Counselor (Michigan), Licensed Psychologist (Michigan), or Marriage & Family Therapist (any issuing authority), verified prior to hire.
• BLS Provider certification preferred (American Heart Association).
• Experience working with children and adolescents is a plus.
