East Arkansas Family Health Center, Inc. (EAFHC) is seeking a compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join our Behavioral Health team in West Memphis, Arkansas. We serve children, adolescents, adults, and families with evidence-based therapies.

This role emphasizes treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions within an integrated PCMH model, collaborating with primary care and other professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or closely related field.
• Current and unrestricted Arkansas licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent.
• Experience providing individual and/or group behavioral health counseling.
• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and evidence-based practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an integrated healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health and psychosocial assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnoses, strengths, and goals.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based approaches.
• Deliver assessment and treatment for substance use disorders, addiction, and co-occurring conditions.
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention for acute behavioral health needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including assessments, plans, progress notes, and billing records.
• Meet productivity expectations of about 6–10 behavioral health sessions per clinical day.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, recovery, coping strategies, and resources.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and integrated behavioral health activities.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and continuing education.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and regulations.
