Job summary

Sephora in San Diego seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients through the Beauty Studio and related services. You’ll use beauty expertise to educate and inspire, delivering personalized service and driving bookings and product sales.

Perform makeup, waxing, and other services, while maintaining licenses, hygiene, and safety standards. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
• 1–3 years of experience in beauty retail, service, or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Educate clients on trends and product knowledge to empower their choices.
• Drive results by achieving store goals and rebooking clients for beauty services.
• Maintain licenses, hygiene standards, and health/safety protocols.
• Support a culture of inclusiveness and teamwork.
