Job summary

Sephora in Sherman Oaks is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients on their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You will perform makeup, waxing, and other services from Sephora’s menu, educating clients on trends and providing personalized care that builds lasting relationships.

Current license to provide waxing and makeup is required, with 1–3 years in retail or service enviroments helping you shine.

Qualifications

Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false lash application in the state where services are performed.
1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environment.
Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Drive results by helping achieve store goals through beauty services, client servicing, and product sales.
Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu; stay informed about trends and product knowledge to educate clients.
Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards; keep licenses active and health/safety protocols.
