Job summary

Sephora in Boston is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor for part-time hours to support clients at the Beauty Studio. You’ll guide customers on products, perform beauty services such as makeup and waxing, and ensure an inclusive, high-service experience.

You must hold an active state license for waxing, makeup and lash applications, bring 1–3 years of service or retail experience, stay current on trends, and work flexible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail/hospitality/service.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by helping achieve store goals through beauty services, client servicing, and rebooking.
• Perform beauty services including makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu; stay informed on trends.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards; keep licenses active and health and safety protocols.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork; promote a culture of openness.
• Uphold Sephora standards; follow policies and contribute to a safe, enjoyable shopping experience.
