Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Beautician in the state of Maryland.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a nursing facility or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair cutting, styling, coloring, and shaving services to residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized beautification area, adhering to infection control guidelines.
• Develop and implement personalized beautification plans in collaboration with residents and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of beauty and wellness trends, techniques, and products.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including treatment plans and resident assessments.
