Job summary

Bethesda Home of Aberdeen is seeking a dedicated Beautician to provide hair care services to residents in accordance with care plans and licensing requirements. The role requires a current cosmetology license and a willingness to perform a range of styling tasks.

Responsibilities include performing shampoo and set, haircuts and permanents, coordinating with nursing staff, and ensuring resident comfort and safety in a respectful, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology License.
• Prefer a minimum of a 12th grade education or equivalent.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day hair care tasks as assigned.
• Identify residents before administering hair care and consult nurse as needed.
• Provide shampoo and set, haircut, permanents, etc.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of tools and area.
• Follow safety procedures and infection control practices.
