Job summary

The Counseling Center in New Jersey is seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor to join its expanding Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Counseling program. You will perform intake, assessments, individual sessions, and group facilitation to support patients and their families.

Eligible candidates hold an LAC, LPC, LSW or LCSW license, are licensed and active, and have experience leading group sessions. New graduates are welcome; the role offers a typical full-time schedule, competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Must hold one of LAC, LPC, LSW or LCSW licenses.
• Active, clean mental health license or certification.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience conducting group sessions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts new patient intake and orientation.
• Performs initial assessments and assists treatment planning.
• Conducts individual sessions and facilitates groups.
• Addresses patient concerns to minimize AMA risk.
• Provides case management and patient tours as needed.
• Documents in the patient medical record.

Position Title: Licensed Associate Counselor

Licensed Associate Counselor Duties/Responsibilities:

• New patient intake and orientation
• Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning
• Conducts individual sessions
• Facilitates groups with patients
• Addresses patient\'s concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA
• Provides Case Management
• Provides tours for prospective patients and their families as requested.
• Documentation in patient medical record

Licensed Associate Counselor Requirements:

Licensed Associate Counselor Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday - Friday
• 1PM - 9:30PM

Licensed Counselor Compensation:

• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
