Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks Armed Security Officers, Licensed Security Officers and Event Officers to protect client sites in Newport News, VA. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work weekends and events.

Pay ranges from $17.00 for unarmed to $20.00 per hour for armed positions. Candidates must pass a background and drug test, have at least 1 year of security experience, and hold a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills and present a professional appearance.
• 1 year of security experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work every weekend and events.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites to maintain security and safety.
• Monitor access points and patrol assigned areas as required.
• Meet and continue to meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.
