Job summary

HDR is seeking an Architect in California to evaluate and apply standard architectural techniques on diverse projects, including healthcare, education, and civic facilities. The role requires a registered architect with at least 3 years of experience and proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3ds Max.

You will lead in design development, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to an employee-owned culture while delivering high-quality documentation and client-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Master's degree in Architecture preferred.
• Registered Architect.
• Experience with healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications.
• Perform assignments with specific objectives, requiring investigation of a limited set of variables.
• Follow instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
• Perform architectural assignments with direction, but without immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility.
• Recommend and select procedures.
• Write reports and specifications covering architectural matters.
• Take responsibility for phases of individual revenue-producing projects as needed.
• This position is subject to a governmental background check.
• Perform other duties as needed.
