Position Overview

We are seeking a U.S.-licensed Architect to support our growing portfolio on a remote, contract basis. This role is ideal for an experienced architect who is comfortable working independently and is skilled in both residential and commercial design. Engagements are structured per project, with clear deliverables and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and document both residential and light commercial projects

  • Produce schematic design packages and presentation drawings

  • Prepare complete, permit-ready construction documentation (Revit or AutoCAD)

  • Conduct zoning and code analysis per project jurisdiction

  • Coordinate remotely with consultants, clients, and contractors

  • Maintain technical accuracy, code compliance, and clear communication

  • Deliver assigned project work on schedule and within defined scope

Qualifications

  • Active architectural license in any U.S. state

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in both residential and commercial architecture

  • High proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction types, and detailing

  • Experience preparing permit and bid/construction sets for commercial interiors or core/shell

  • Self-directed with excellent communication skills in a remote setting

Skills

  • LEED accreditation or demonstrated sustainable design experience

  • Experience working within design-build delivery models

  • Familiarity with visualization software (SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, etc.)
