Job summary

A mental health practice in Danbury is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join their team. This part-time role offers flexibility and the opportunity to provide individual and group counseling as well as conduct assessments. The ideal candidate will have an active Connecticut LADC license and be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive environment. Qualifications

Position Overview

The LADC will provide substance use evaluations, individual counseling, and coordinate care with our psychiatric providers and therapists. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments
• Provide individual and/or group substance use counseling
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, APRNs, PA, and therapists
• Provide relapse prevention and psychoeducation
• Participate in case consultation as needed
