Job summary

Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Airframe Technician to assist with testing, adjustments, and repairs on Learjet airframes. You will prepare and complete documentation per FAA regulations and company procedures, under limited supervision.

Essential duties include inspections, troubleshooting, tool handling, and maintaining records. Strong adherence to safety, quality, and timely job completion is expected, with shifts available and diverse experience levels considered.

Qualifications

• Entry level to two years Aircraft/Business Jet maintenance experience preferred.
• FAA Airframe Maintenance Certificate required (or 1-3 months out from testing).
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Two years relevant Aircraft/Business Jet maintenance experience required.
• More than four years relevant Aircraft/Business Jet maintenance experience required.
• More than five years relevant Aircraft/Business Jet maintenance experience on multiple models, with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• With limited supervision, perform inspections, servicing, and maintenance on airframes with high quality and safe handling of hand tools.
• Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components.
• Prepare documentation for records, including service discrepancies, corrections, and compliance statements.
• Follow technical data and verbal instructions to accomplish maintenance tasks accurately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
