Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE is seeking a licensed psychologist to provide psychotherapy and clinical assessments for adults within our clinical program. The role includes contributing to the clinic's training activities and helping expand a robust referral base with medical providers and community partners.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. or Psy.D., has APA internship experience, and is licensed or licensable in Nebraska.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, school, and/or counseling psychology required
• Completed an APA approved internship or equivalent required
• Experience providing psychological services to adults required
• Licensed (or licensable) Psychologist, Counselor, or Mental Health Practitioner in the state in which practicing required

Responsibilities

• Provides psychotherapy and conducts psychological assessments to adults
• Assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base
• Supports the Clinic’s clinical training program
• Provides psychotherapy services to clients each week
• Conducts clinical assessments
• Meets monthly clinical productivity expectations
• Assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base from Boys Town, medical providers, other treatment providers, and the general community
• Provides clinical consultation with referral base for the purpose of coordinating care for clients
• Obtains ongoing education related to the fields of clinical psychology and clinical assessment and intervention
• Participates in clinical training activities and provides training in various psychological topics for Clinic staff
